Here we have just the base color. Just like the previous technique, making a metallic gradient depends upon using strong contrast colors that come from a base color.
Here we have the basic shading started with our two darker colors.
Now we've got all the shades in use, with green circles hi-lighting the key contrast points. Gradients such as this are great for using for background elements and for elements that should have a consistent metallic tone. It's also easy to vary just how flashy you want your gradient to look.
